Portland Oregon Jobs Created by TIGER Funding
A new round of federal funding will help create Portland Oregon jobs in construction, design and engineering.
Mayor Sam Adams recently announced that the City of Portland Bureau of Transportation and Portland Development Commission have been awarded a federal Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant worth $23,203,988.
The funding will be used to support transportation the Portland Innovation Quadrant. The city's unique application faced off against 14,000 applications worth more than $60 billion for the $1.5 billion available throughout the country.
